Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Senior Assurance Engineer (NATO Contract) Location: The Hague, Netherlands (75% on-site) Day Rate: €700 per day Start Date: 25 August 2025 | End Date: 31 December 2025 Security Clearance: NATO Secret We are seeking a Senior Assurance Engineer to join the Independent Assurance Branch within the Chief Quality Office. This role supports independent verification, validation, and quality assurance across a wide range of projects, systems, and services—both in development and in operation. Key Responsibilities: Plan, conduct, and report on formal reviews and assurance activities across complex and cross-functional domains Identify and document non-compliances, including root cause analysis Create and validate test documentation (e.g., Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Test Reports) Manage design and execution of verification and validation (V&V) events Provide quality oversight on externally delivered projects and operational acceptance activities Coordinate with both internal teams and external stakeholders Required Experience & Skills: Minimum 5 years in test planning and V&V within complex system environments Strong background in functional, non-functional, and interoperability testing Experience managing stakeholders and working within cross-disciplinary teams Solid understanding of hardware/software architectures and test environments Familiarity with test management tools, virtualized/cloud environments, and third-party testing oversight Clear, concise communicator with strong documentation skills Desirable: Advanced testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced) Experience in NATO, defense, or military interoperability testing Familiarity with assurance tools and processes Partial remote work permitted; presence on-site is required approximately 75% of the time.
