Linux & NOC Admin (Cloud Operations Engineer)

As a Linux & NOC Admin (Cloud Operations Engineer) at a cloud software company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network and server solutions. You will also provide 24/7 operational support to the Network Operations Center. The applicant needs to hold a national or EU passport, have a valid work authorization , and be within a commutable distance. The successful candidate will be subjected to background verification in compliance with the national legislation and market standards. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting daily operations of servers and network equipment Collaborating closely with the Data Center Manager on project scheduling Management of various infrastructure components such as DNS/ DHCP/ NTP/ Proxy/ OS Image Servers / Load Balancers Supporting ad hoc project work Work Schedule: 24/7 shift model Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday) Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Shifts rotate weekly Sunday night shifts included Two consecutive days off after Friday shifts Requirements: 0 to 3 years of NOC experience Good knowledge of Linux OS and cloud infrastructure components like virtualization, Load Balancers, etc Good network analytics and troubleshooting skills using packet capture and other monitoring tools Knowledge of basic networking concepts like VLAN, NAT, ARP, basic FW, and Switch configuration Experience with network operating systems such as firewalls, switches, routers, etc Nice to have: Hands-on experience with internet routing protocols and concepts of TCP/IP, BGP & OSPF Good working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and strong basic knowledge of L2 switching and L3 routing Knowledge of server hardware components like CPU, RAM, different types of drives, NIC, etc Benefits: Competitive salary package aligned with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the market value of the role NS Business Card Company Pension Scheme MacBook, mobile, and paid SIM Company-provided lunch Reimbursement of approved business expenses Supportive and inclusive work environment Participation in coaching and mentoring schemes
