Senior Health Economics Modeler

Senior Health Economics Modeler Location: Groningen, Netherlands (Hybrid) Type: Permanent, Full-Time I'm seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Health Economics Modeler to join my clients team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Health Economics including developing Health Economic models. You’ll play a key role in shaping high-impact projects across a broad range of therapeutic areas, collaborating with both major pharmaceutical clients and innovative biotech companies. What You’ll Do Economic Modelling & Analysis Design, develop, and validate cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and early economic models Lead the conceptual development of model structures based on HTA standards Perform advanced statistical and quantitative analyses to support model assumptions Create interactive tools and communication materials to support payer engagement Drive innovation through integration of R, AI, and forward-looking HTA methodologies Experience with health utility mapping is an advantage Scientific Communication Produce technical documentation, manuscripts, global value dossiers, and conference materials Translate complex modelling outputs into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences Contribute to publication efforts and scientific engagement activities Project Leadership Lead multidisciplinary teams from project scoping through to final delivery Serve as the primary contact for clients, offering expert guidance and strategic input Mentor junior consultants and contribute to their professional development Support internal process improvement and innovation initiatives Business Development Contribute to proposal development, client scoping discussions, and strategic planning Help identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow the client base What I'm Looking For Minimum 7 years’ experience in health economics including modelling (cost-effectiveness and budget impact models) Proficiency in Excel/VBA; experience with R or similar programming tools is a plus Proven success with HTA submissions and payer-focused modelling Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset Background in health economics, life sciences, statistics, or a related discipline
