Operations Manager

PURPPOSE OF JOB: The Operations Manager is responsible for Supervising and Co-Ordinating Office and workshop Activities to secure efficiency and compliance to SOPs and policies. To ensure that first class Customer Service and Sales Support is provided. Responsible for performing Management duties. To be involved in employees’ daily duties and to make sure that they reach their full potential each day. To be aware and to pick up when one of the employees are having a bad day or personal problems. To talk to them and to find out if there is a way to assist them in making the situation better. Monitoring all reports, Inventory Control and Administration, Fixed Assets management, HR Administration and to support and administrate Procurement activities. Minimum Qualifications Matric/Grade 12 Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration – advantageous Valid Drivers Licence Minimum Experience 5 years in warehouse operations – preferably in tyre or automotive industry Managing inbound and outbound logistics Inventory control/stock management 3 years in a supervisory/management role – leadership or team development Health & Safety compliance experience
