Requirements: BCom Accounting or similar degree Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles 6 years Accounting experience (1 years being in a corporate environment) Must have experience within a corporate environment (Outside of an audit / accounting firm) Pastel experience BillQuick experience is preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Good communication skills Fluent in English Ability to work under pressure Valid drivers license and own reliable transport Behavioral Competencies Maintains confidentiality Attention to detail Analytical thinking Sound judgment Clear, professional communication Proactive and solutions-oriented Continuous improvement mindset Responsibilities (not limited to): Financial Reporting Manage Accurate General Ledger Entries Reconcile All Bank Accounts And Balance Sheet Accounts Assist With Year-End Preparation Maintain Fixed Asset Register Prepare Ad Hoc Financial Reports Month-End Close Creditors, Payments & Forex Advances Oversee And Manage Payments For Companys Creditors Ensure All Invoices Are Verified And Processed Accurately CHECK CREDITORS Reconciliations Staff Forex Advances Revenue Revenue Reconciliation Customer Statements Sub-Let Rental Invoicing Payroll (Outsourced) Perform Monthly Payroll Input Check Payroll File for Payment Payroll Reconciliation Staff Loan Agreements Creditors, Employee Expenses & Payments Oversee And Manage Payments For Companys Creditors Ensure All Invoices Are Verified And Processed Accurately Manage And Pay Employee Expenses Cash Flow Management Monitor daily cash flow and provide weekly cash flow forecasts Maintain positive monthly cash flow and ensure adequate reserves SUPPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES Taxation & Compliance Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
