Mid Software Engineer

Primary Purpose of Job: Our client is looking for a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable front-end applications. Â What you will be doing: Collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to build performant, scalable front-end solutions. Writing clean, maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards. Optimising front-end performance and enhancing user experience. Participating in architectural discussions and contributing ideas for technical improvements. Working with modern frameworks such as React and Next.js. Writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure code quality. Supporting and improving CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and delivery. Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Â What the company is looking for Solid experience with front-end technologies, particularly JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Understanding of state management solutions (e.g., Redux). Experience with automated testing using Jest and React Testing Library. Familiarity with RESTful services and API integrations. Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development challenges. A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive engineering culture. Â Bonus point for: Experience with TypeScript. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices. Familiarity with GraphQL and other API technologies. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
