Safety Officer

Role: Safety Officer Location: Richards Bay - KZN Industry : Industrial, Chemical - Hydroblasting Qualification: SACPCMP registration as a Safety Officer Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license Role & Responsibilities : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards Develop and implement safety policies and procedures Provide safety training to new and existing employees Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions Maintain records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents Collaborate with management and employees to promote a positive safety culture Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and standards Assist in emergency response and evacuation procedures Participate in safety meetings and committees We are committed to locating the ideal job for you, so we kindly advise against paying for this service.
