Job Description

Responsibilities (Staff Management / Maintenance / Hosting) Staff Management & Reporting Structure: Manage a team of 10 to 20 lodge and field staff. Provide strong leadership, scheduling, and performance oversight. The game driver will report directly to this role. Enforce discipline, productivity, and service quality standards across the team. Maintenance & Property Oversight: Maintain lodge infrastructure, gardens, and surroundings. Conduct regular vehicle checks and coordinate repairs. Oversee all general maintenance and ensure operational readiness of equipment. Requirements FGASA Level 2 (NQF 4), Full Trails Guide, ARH Rifle Handling Certification. Valid PDP and drivers license. First Aid Certificate (valid). Minimum 5 years guiding experience, with proven Big 5 tracking expertise. Demonstrated experience managing 10 to 20 staff members. Strong management and leadership capabilities. Maintenance and mechanical proficiency. Astronomy knowledge (advantageous) . Excellent guest relations and hosting abilities.
