Technical Insure Specialist

Renowned for their innovation, professional excellence, and commitment to empowering advisers, our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Adviser to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town . Responsibilties Act as the subject matter expert and manage the large case review process, including presenting findings to senior management. Continuously evaluate and improve the large case process. Represent the organization in adviser-focused meetings and technical/distribution committees. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic distribution projects. Provide content and technical input for adviser support and marketing teams. Draft, review, and approve communication materials related to advice and distribution. Conduct due diligence on products and product providers. Offer ongoing technical advisory support to advisers and distribution teams. Produce technical content such as TakeNotes and Advice for Advisers . Represent the organization on various technical and product-related committees. Conduct research for ad hoc technical projects. Lead and manage a team of direct reports. Facilitate technical training for advisers, particularly in the Advisor Development Programme. Requirements NQF5 qualification in Short-Term Insurance (or relevant equivalent). 7 years experience in personal and commercial lines, with exposure to underwriting and claims. Deep knowledge of short-term insurance products . Proven experience engaging with senior/executive management . Direct experience working with financial advisers .
