Press Brake Operator – Permanent Position Location: Needham Market, Suffolk Salary: £14.00 per hour Hours: * Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm * Friday: 6:00am – 1:30pm About the Role Stonetech is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected manufacturing business in Needham Market. We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating press brake machinery in a production environment, who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate CNC press brake machines * Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings * Perform accurate forming, bending, and punching of sheet metal components * Ensure components meet required quality and specification standards * Maintain a safe and organised working environment * Collaborate effectively with the production team and supervisors Candidate Requirements * Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing or engineering setting * Ability to read and understand technical drawings * Experience with machine setup is desirable (training can be provided) * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Good time management and reliability Benefits * £14.00 per hour starting rate * 253 days holiday plus bank holidays * Early finish on Fridays * On-site parking available * Health insurance scheme available after three years of service * Supportive team environment with training and development opportunities
