Contract Opportunity: Mechanical Designer - Nuclear Projects Warrington (Hybrid) Up to £38/hour (Umbrella) Are you an experienced Mechanical Designer ready to take on complex and meaningful work in the nuclear sector? We're looking for a talented contractor to join our team delivering critical design packages across major nuclear programmes. You'll work on SEP Machines supporting a diverse range of mechanical handling, process, and lifting tasks, using your design expertise to ensure safe, robust, and compliant solutions for one of the UK's most important industries. What you'll be doing: Delivering detailed work packages using the SL Drawing Management System (Cimage) Creating and modifying drawings from engineer instructions and markups Producing concept, detailed, and manufacturing design drawings Communicating clearly with engineers and stakeholders to deliver right-first-time solutions Essential Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Confident in implementing drawing modifications and new designs Experience producing mechanical design drawings for concept, detailed, and manufacturing stages Solid understanding of BS 8888 & GPS engineering drawing standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desirable Extras: Knowledge of SL Drawing requirements and Cimage Strong engineering judgement in applying design principles Why Join?
