Job Title: Storeperson Location: Southampton Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) About the Role We are looking for an organised and reliable Storeperson to join our growing team in the forklift industry, based in Sleaford. You’ll play a vital role in managing stock, parts, and equipment that keep our engineers working efficiently and our customers happy. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in stores, parts management or warehousing — ideally within the forklift, automotive, or plant machinery sectors. Key Responsibilities: Manage incoming and outgoing parts, ensuring stock is logged, tracked, and stored correctly Organise deliveries and collections for engineers and customers Monitor and replenish inventory levels Liaise with suppliers and place orders as needed Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised stores environment Assist engineers with locating and issuing required parts Use basic IT systems for stock control and record keepingWhat We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a stores or parts role (forklift/automotive/plant industry preferred) Good communication and organisational skills Basic computer literacy (for stock systems, emails, order processing) A proactive, dependable team player with strong attention to detail Forklift licence is an advantage, but not essentialWhat We Offer: Competitive salary of £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience A full-time, stable position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) Opportunities to grow within a supportive and skilled team Pension scheme and holiday allowanceIf you are interested, please send a copy of your CV to this advert or call Jack at Kemp Recruitment (phone number removed) INDJH1
