Job Description
Requirements: We are looking for a candidate who brings the following: A relevant tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Information Security, or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience specifically in the implementation and certification processes of ISO standards. Demonstrated strong knowledge of key ISO standards, such as ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), or ISO 27001 (Information Security), depending on your area of expertise. Proven experience in successfully conducting audits and managing compliance with both regulatory requirements and certification bodies. Proficiency with document management systems and audit software will be a distinct advantage. Possesses strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication and training abilities, an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence organizational change with a detail-oriented focus on compliance and continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities: As the ISO Manager, your core responsibilities will include: Develop and Maintain ISO Systems: Establishing, implementing, and comprehensively managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and other relevant ISO management systems in strict accordance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001). Certification and Compliance: Leading the organization through successful initial certification and subsequent recertification audits. You will also coordinate all internal and external audits to ensure continuous compliance with ISO standards and all applicable regulatory requirements. Documentation and Control: Developing, maintaining, and controlling all necessary documentation, including policies, procedures, work instructions, and records, ensuring proper document control and revision management across the organization. Training and Awareness: Designing and facilitating effective training and awareness programs to ensure that all employees fully understand ISO requirements and their individual roles in maintaining compliance and contributing to the management systems effectiveness. Risk and Improvement Management: Proactively identifying risks and opportunities pertinent to quality, environment, health and safety, or information security. You will lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall system performance. Audit Management: Planning and conducting thorough internal audits. This includes effectively managing non-conformances, implementing corrective actions, and serving as the primary liaison with external auditors and certification bodies. Reporting: Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on system performance, audit results, and all improvement activities to senior management, providing actionable insights. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating effectively with various departments and internal stakeholders to seamlessly integrate ISO requirements into existing business processes and support the achievement of broader organizational objectives.
