Site Manager (Opencast Mining)

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operations at a prominent opencast mining site. This role is with a leading mining contractor, providing specialised opencast mining services to major operations in the Steelpoort area. The contractor manages critical aspects of production, safety, and compliance on behalf of their mining clients. High-Impact Leadership: Directly manage a large team and subcontractors in a dynamic opencast environment Strategic Compliance: Enforce MHSA and labour laws while meeting production targets Client-Specific Needs: Must be comfortable with Steelpoort’s operational demands and hybrid reporting structure Requirements Mining or Civil Qualification advantageous 8 years as a Site Manager (Opencast Mining) Surface Blasting Ticket & Competency A Certificate Proven ability to manage 180 direct, indirect & subcontractor reports
