Travel Nurse RN - PCU - $2,306 per week in Lancaster, SC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years License: South Carolina license or Compact license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry competency required Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating Requirement: Must float within scope to meet facility needs Description: The position is for a Neuro/PCU Registered Nurse. The shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. On-call requirement is not applicable. First-time travelers are not accepted. BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required. Telemetry competency is necessary for this role. The facility will allow one shift off every two weeks. After two call-outs without documented medical reasons, the contract may be canceled. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season. All time off must be included at the time of submission. Flexible scheduling to fill the needs of the unit is required. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates must have a South Carolina license in hand prior to starting. Candidates with a pending license will be considered with proof of application. Travelers are advised not to confirm assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June to November.
