Site Manager – Yeovil Hospital (Internal Fit-Out / Refurbishment) Location: Yeovil, Somerset Start Date: 16th or 17th July (Please only apply if you can start on this date) ⏳ Duration: 2–3 months (potential for extension) Rate: Competitive (DOE) Parking Available We are urgently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a live hospital project in Yeovil, working with a Tier 1 contractor on a key internal fit-out and refurbishment scheme. This is a hands-on, site-based role — ideal for someone who thrives being out on site, managing trades, and driving day-to-day activity. This is not an office-based position. Project Overview: * Phase 1: Final commissioning and handover of a new-build hospital block. * Phase 2: Internal refurbishment of operating theatres. * Projects are live but do not involve patient contact or ward access. Requirements: * Proven experience managing fit-out, internal, and refurbishment works, ideally in a live environment. * A steady work history with Tier 1 contractors is strongly preferred. * Strong trade coordination, site presence, and H&S enforcement. * Valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid. * Asbestos Awareness certification required. * Excellent communication skills and proactive site leadership. Additional Info: * No DBS required. * Access to hospital toilets, coffee shops, and communal areas (no patient interaction). * On-site parking available.
