Yard Manager Salary: £30k-£35k Location: Daventry Hours: Monday–Friday, Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Type: Permanent We are currently working with a client that requires an proactive and reliable Yard Manager with mechanical experience to oversee the day-to day operations of their yard and to ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced. This position is ideal for someone with a mechanics background who can manage a team, be organised and manage the health and safety for the site. Yard Manager Benefits: Competitive salary 22 days holiday bank holidays Free on-site parking Training and development opportunities Yard Manager Responsibilities: Manage the organisation, cleanliness and safety of the yard and work areas Oversee the inspection, maintenance and repair of company equipment including agriculture machines Maintain accurate records of service and repair history Manage incoming and outgoing vendors for specialised repairs Manage incoming and outgoing inventory, deliveries and shipments Support logistics and operations teams with equipment allocation and yard logistics Health and safety compliance Desirable Experience: Proven experience as a yard Manager Strong mechanical background- ability to diagnose and repair equipment Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems would be an advantage Familiar with maintaining heavy machinery and tools Strong organisational and leadership skills Able to work under pressure To apply, simply click the apply button.
