Area Sales Manager – Retail Division- Animal feed and Nutrition * Hybrid * Excellent Salary and Bonus - Car Laptop * Location: Dumfries and Galloway | Full-Time | Permanent We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded individual to join our expanding Retail Sales team as an Area Sales Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career within a growing and forward-thinking organisation in the agricultural supply chain. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow sales within your assigned territory. * Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to achieve and exceed revenue targets. * Work collaboratively to create and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to your area. * Identify opportunities for cross-selling and account development. * Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide professional support throughout the sales process. * Maintain an in-depth understanding of the product range and its application in livestock systems. * Represent the company at trade events and exhibitions as required. * Provide first-line technical support and handle customer feedback and queries with professionalism. * Assist with territory financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. What We’re Looking For: * Prior sales experience is beneficial, but not essential – full training will be provided. * Confident IT user with strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. * Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and digital). * Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. * A strong understanding of or interest in the agricultural/livestock sector is desirable.
