Senior Quantity Surveyor – Deal, Kent Up to £75,000 Package Permanent Role | Residential Development Hill McGlynn, experts in construction recruitment, are delighted to be partnering with a reputable main contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a high-quality residential development based in Deal, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key commercial role on a major scheme, with particular emphasis on timber frame construction, delivering quality homes as part of a growing project pipeline. The Role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for the commercial and financial management of this residential project, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure the development is delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: * Commercial management of a large residential development * Cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting * Procurement and management of subcontractor packages * Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts * Ensuring contractual compliance (JCT or similar) * Providing commercial support to the project team * Managing cash flow and risk throughout the project lifecycle Ideal Candidate Profile: * Strong background in construction, ideally within the residential sector * Experience working on timber frame housing projects is highly desirable * Sound commercial awareness and understanding of contracts * Ability to manage project finances independently * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary up to £75,000, based on experience * Attractive package * Opportunity to work on a flagship residential scheme * Long-term career progression with a respected contractor * Supportive working environment with experienced project teams Apply Today To apply, please submit your CV
