Senior Facilities Administrator This role is key to us as it makes sure that ourreactive and planned maintenance activities are properly recorded, scheduled, and tracked. A&P Falmouth is one of the largest ship-repair facilities in the UK, we provide a complete range of marine repair services thanks to our on-site engineering, electrical, paint and fabrication workshops. What will you do? You'll make sure thatall reactive maintenance issues are logged, tracked, and closed out appropriately in the CMMS working with ourmaintenance teams to monitor response times and resolution. Manage the upkeep of the CMMS, ensuring accurate data entry for assets, maintenance schedules, work orders, and service histories. Support the planning and scheduling of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities. Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of scheduled tasks. Oversee the attendance, induction, and compliance of all contractors working on-site. Maintain registers and issue permits where required. Ensure all facility-related risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and statutory inspection records are current and accessible. Assist in preparing for internal and external audits related to facility safety, maintenance, and statutory compliance. Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activity, service reports, warranties, manuals, and asset documentation. Liaise with Production, HSEQ, and operational teams to align maintenance and facility priorities. What are we looking for? Previous experience in a facilities administration or facilities coordinator role, ideally within a heavy industry, marine, or shipyard environment. Strong working knowledge of CMMS software or similar database systems, specific training will be provided. Familiarity with UK HSE regulations, particularly those relevant to industrial or marine facilities. Excellent attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and managing compliance documents. Experience coordinating external contractors and maintaining control over site access and work permits. Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience supporting facilities in a shipyard, dockyard, or similar industrial setting. Familiarity with statutory inspections (LOLER, PUWER, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SharePoint. Additional Information: This is an on-site role. Some flexibility may be required to support emergency maintenance or compliance deadlines. PPE and safety training will be provided as appropriate to the role. Why join us?
