Contracts Manager

About the Role: My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to join their Small Works Division based out of their Worcestershire office. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver a wide range of construction projects, with typical values between £100,000 and £7 million, across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential. As Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously — ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards while maintaining excellent working relationships with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: * Managing the delivery of multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion * Leading site teams and supporting project managers to ensure programme, safety, and quality targets are met * Overseeing project planning, resourcing, and commercial control * Supporting the commercial team with cost management and subcontractor coordination * Conducting regular site visits, inspections, and progress meetings * Driving best practice in health & safety, sustainability, and quality standards * Acting as the key point of contact between the office and site teams, ensuring communication flows effectively What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in a Contracts Manager or similar senior site/project leadership role * Strong background in main contracting and experience of working on small to medium-sized projects * Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and teams * Commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts and programmes * Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites across the region Whats On Offer: * Competitive salary with car allowance and benefits package * Opportunities for professional development and career progression * A supportive and collaborative working environment * The chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across a respected and award-winning business About the Company: A leading regional contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable construction solutions.
