Electrical Design Engineer

About the Company Our client is a well-established UK-based automation specialist headquartered in Bedfordshire , delivering automated warehousingsolutions to a wide range of UK and international clients. The Role As an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer , you'll be using Eplan 2022-24 to help design and engineer hardware solutions for all types of automation projects. You'll also be responsible for schematics, engineering calculations, BOMs and design documentation. This is the chance to join a dynamic and growing team who also offer remote and hybrid working! Key Responsibilities Understand and interpret customer/process requirements. Design electrical systems using EPLAN , including 3D layout drawings. Create accurate Bills of Materials (BoMs) for procurement and documentation. Collaborate with design and controls engineers to meet overall system needs. Support commissioning processes (FAT & SAT). Ensure compliance with safety directives and technical standards. Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience Proficient in EPLAN 22-24 Experience using Autocad Qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering Experience in the electrical design of special-purpose machinery, automation, robotics, conveyor and warehouse automation systems or similar.
