HGV Class 1 Driver (LHR)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Weybridge area (LHR depot) We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team. Shifts: Shifts across Monday to Sunday days or nights Pay Rate: Days: £16.72 per hour PAYE Nights: £18.55 per hour PAYE Location: Weybridge, KT13 Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. . Internation work Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. . Filling out daily timesheets and analysing paperwork against load on board . Reporting any discrepancies Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E). . Minimum of 6 months experience required Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
