CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER Hours: START TIMES BETWEEN 0400-1000AM Pay Rate: £17.36ph - Standard hours Mon-Fri up to 42 hours £22.57ph - Overtime hours 42 £20.36ph - Saturday hours £22.91ph - Sunday hours People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Warrington . Benefits: Free site parking Permanent position obtainable Weekly pay Overtime available Site canteen and vending machines Training provided Flexible working patterns Opportunity to progress into other departments of the business Day to Day Duties: Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Complete 2-4 store deliveries per shift Ensuring all loads are safe and secure Collections of recycling from depots may be required Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner Communicate any issues / delays effectively Abide by all working time rules and regulations Trunking work may also be required (mostly on PM shifts) Essential Skills: Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence At least two years' experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver Hold a valid CPC and digital tachograph card No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN10, DR10, DD10) Good customer service and communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience with store deliveries would be an advantage Training: Must pass a one-hour company assessment both written and physical If passed you will undergo a two-day paid company induction You will have shadow shifts for your first week Contact If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
