Freelance Sub Agent – Substation Project – Sanquhar £300 - £320 per day CIS Approx. 20 weeks from mid-August 40 hours per week We’re working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are looking for an experienced Sub Agent to support a substation build project near Sanquhar, starting around 18th August. The project involves overseeing a portal frame and cladding package, so would suit someone with a building background more than pure civils. You’ll be joining a competent and well-structured team, supporting the delivery of a key energy infrastructure scheme. Key Requirements: SMSTS CSCS First Aid (ideal but not essential) Strong experience delivering building works – particularly steel frame and cladding Previous substation or energy sector experience would be advantageous The client has had a positive experience working with a similar candidate recently and is looking for someone of the same calibre who can hit the ground running.
