Job Description

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with a recognisable, innovative and long established company based in Dundee who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. In a role that will suit someone with previous experience in a high volume, commercial environment you will work as part of a small team to ensure that daily financial deadlines are met and transactions are processed accurately and on time. On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include: Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements. Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes. Resolve invoice queries as they arise and escalate when required. Preparation and collation of VAT information. Calculating accruals and prepayments. Playing a key supporting role during the month-end and year-end processes processes. General accounts administration. Daily use of both Sage and Microsoft Excel.
