Merchandise Administrator - Midrand

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity for a Merchandise Administrator to join the team. You will Maintain all Procurement Department database systems and update these databases on a daily basis to ensure efficient business operations. Minimum Requirements : Essential: Grade 12 / Matric Job Description: Accurately list, load and Jab any take-on forms as per Dis-Chem standard operating procedures Make sure that any promotions are listed and loaded in time and Jabbed before promotion starts and make sure they end at specified time as per management requirements Maintain articles on the Procurement Systems Maintain any price increase or decreases on the Procurement Systems Assist stores with any problems they might experience Resolve any heat calls as per standard operating procedures Inform management of any discrepancies as soon as you become aware of it Ensure daily active communication with your line manager/ supervisor Assist internal customers with queries they may have in a helpful and insightful manner Competencies: Essential: Strong command of the English language Presentable Effective engagement with customers, management and staff Trustworthy and honest Time management Advantageous: Bilingual Knowledge of merchandising standards and the FMCG industry Special conditions of employment: South African citizen Clear credit and criminal records Remuneration and benefits: Market-related salary Medical aid Provident fund Staff account ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
