Job Description
Job Summary: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking, management, and control of inventory within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures that materials and finished goods are properly accounted for, stored, and maintained to support efficient production schedules and minimize losses. The supervisor leads a team of inventory clerks or warehouse staff, enforces inventory policies, and collaborates with production, procurement, and quality teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily inventory operations including receiving, storage, issuance, and shipment of materials and finished goods. Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and work with production and procurement teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory. Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency. Train, lead, and motivate inventory control staff to meet performance standards. Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on inventory status, variances, and trends for management review. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or losses, implementing corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards within the warehouse and inventory areas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production planning and supply chain optimization. Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to track inventory movement and generate reports. Coordinate with external auditors during inventory audits and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Proven experience (3 years) in inventory control or warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to inventory-related issues. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in warehouse operations. Fluent in English 80% (writing, conversational) Valid Passport and VISA
