Account Manager – Home Category (Marketplace)

About the Role: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Account Manager to lead and grow our Home Category within our fast-paced marketplace environment. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for key sellers and brands in the Home segment (furniture, decor, kitchen, storage, etc.), driving their success on our platform through data-driven insights, performance optimization, and commercial negotiations. Responsibilities: Manage and grow a portfolio of sellers and brands within the Home category. Act as the primary business advisor to sellers, supporting assortment expansion, pricing strategy, marketing activation, and operational excellence. Analyze sales data and marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities and risks. Drive commercial negotiations including commissions, campaigns, and promotional planning. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, product, and customer service teams to ensure an excellent end-to-end seller and customer experience. Monitor KPIs such as GMV, conversion rate, seller performance, and inventory availability. Ensure seller compliance with marketplace policies and quality standards. Onboard new sellers and guide them through best practices to maximize their performance. Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in account management, category management, or business development – ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods. Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel and/or data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Commercial mindset and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Fluent in English (other languages are a plus). Passion for the Home category and consumer trends is a strong plus.
