Welsh Teacher - Merthyr

Welsh Medium Teacher (SEN) - Merthyr Academics - Acting as an agency on behalf of schools across Merthyr Tydfil - is currently recruiting for a passionate and committed Welsh Medium Teacher with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) to work in a variety of local primary and secondary schools. This is a temporary role, with the potential for long-term or permanent placement depending on school requirements and candidate suitability. Role Details: Position: Welsh Medium Teacher (SEN experience essential) Location: Schools across Merthyr Tydfil Type: Temporary (opportunity for permanent roles) Pay Rate: £170 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) Start Date: Immediate / FlexibleRole Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons through the medium of Welsh Support pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and emotional/behavioural needs Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and wider school staff Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needsMinimum Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Fluent Welsh speaker, confident teaching in Welsh Experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEN Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service or willing to obtain) Proven classroom experience in a similar roleWhy Join Academics?
