Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter Location: Taunton Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 An opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Fitter to join a manufacturing company based in Taunton. The ideal candidate will have experience of Mechanical fitting and assembly ideally with pneumatics or hydraulics knowledge as you will be working on special purpose machinery. The role is a normal 37.5 hour week day shift and there may be some overtime available. They offer yearly bonuses depending on the company performance. Mechanical Fitter Key Skills: * Experience of Mechanical Fitting and Assembly * Excellent background of using hand tools and machinery * Knowledge of machining * Any pneumatics or hydraulics experience would be a bonus * Mechanical Engineering qualifications * Must be able to read mechanical drawings and schematics Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities: * Working with the rest of the manufacturing team building and assembling special purpose machinery * Ensuring all builds are assembled to the industry standards * Inspecting your work to ensure not faults * Some repair work will be required * Fabrication tasks If you could be interested in finding out more about the role as a Mechanical Fitter, please apply with your latest CV
