HGV Driver – Livestock (Pigs)

£45,000 per year Suffolk | Full-time | Permanent Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work Are you an experienced HGV driver with a background in livestock transport? We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Livestock Driver to join a growing team based in Suffolk. This is a hands-on role transporting pigs between farms and processing sites, where attention to detail, animal welfare and professionalism are key. What you will be doing * Driving a modern HGV vehicle to transport pigs safely and legally * Loading and unloading livestock in line with animal welfare regulations * Carrying out pre-use vehicle checks and maintaining transport records * Communicating with farm staff and managers to ensure timely deliveries * Complying with all DEFRA and Red Tractor guidelines What we are looking for * Valid HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence * Livestock transport experience, ideally with pigs * Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card * Understanding of animal welfare standards and handling techniques * A positive attitude, good communication skills and a strong work ethic What you will get * £45,000 annual salary * Modern and well-maintained vehicles * Consistent, year-round work * Supportive working environment with a focus on welfare and safety * Opportunities for overtime and additional earnings Apply now If you are a confident HGV driver with livestock experience and want to work with a company that values high standards, we would like to hear from you
