Higher Level Teaching Assistant | Primary School | Immediate Start Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new opportunity in a vibrant primary school? This Higher Level Teaching Assistant role will require someone to join our secondary school in Tower Hamlets. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting students and teachers, leading small group sessions, and delivering pre-planned lessons. About the Role: Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Duration: Start ASAP Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm Location: E2, East LondonKey Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons. Cover classeswhen teachers are absent, maintaining a positive learning environment. Lead small group interventions to boost student attainment. Support students with additional learning needs, including those with SEN. Help assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Assist in managing the classroom and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere. Collaborate with the wider school team, including teachers and the SENCO.About You: Experience as an HLTA or a similar role within a primary school setting. Confidence in delivering lessons and working with pupils across different year groups. Knowledge of SENand experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable. Strong communication and organisational skills. A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team. A passion for helping children achieve their best and promoting a positive learning environment.
