Class 2 Driver

Jobstore are currently recruiting Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our well-established client based in the Bury area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay starting at £14.36 and then moving up to £14.75 after 12 weeks on a temp to perm basis. You will be working Tuesday - Friday 06.45am - 16.30pm . Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Operate and drive various Class 2 Refuse Collection vehicles to collect refuse and recycling from designated routes and locations in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Conducting daily vehicle checks in line with Operators Licence requirements, and submitting necessary record sheets on a weekly basis. Operating the vehicle efficiently to meet round targets, including improving recycling rates, reducing residual waste, and addressing any complaints, missed bins, or access problems. You may be required to support the loading crew when necessary. As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Class 2 Category C Licence Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience beneficial Positive work ethic and good customer service Max 6 minor points (for insurance) Experience driving rear axle vehicles If this is sounds like the right opportunity for you then click apply now and one our team will call you to discuss your application asap.
