Job Title: Tactical Communications Systems Architect Location: Worcester Rate: £500 - £600 per day Contract Type: Inside IR35 Days per Week: 4 Days Contract Duration: 1st August 2025 - 31st March 2027 Clearance: Must hold active MOD DV Clearance Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tactical Communications Systems Architect to lead the development and delivery of secure, military-grade communication systems as part of a high-priority defence programme. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of tactical communications for the UK military within a classified environment, working alongside leading defence specialists and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Lead systems architecture design for tactical comms solutions within a secure operational environment Develop, integrate, and validate end-to-end tactical communication systems Work closely with cross-functional engineering and programme teams to ensure system requirements are met Translate operational military requirements into technical solutions Ensure interoperability with legacy and future systems Support integration, testing, and deployment activities Essential Experience: Extensive military background, preferably ex-Forces (e.g., British Army Royal Signals or equivalent) Proven experience in tactical communications systems design and delivery Strong understanding of secure comms architectures and military-grade security requirements Experience in complex systems integration and defence communications projects Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills Additional Information: Due to the sensitivity of the project, all work must be conducted on-site Active MOD DV Clearance This role is Inside IR35 and limited to 4 working days per week If you're a tactical comms expert with a defence background and are ready to make a direct impact on mission-critical UK defence capabilities, we'd like to hear from you
