Benefits Specialist - Belfast - Permanent MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a global organisation as they look to add a Benefits Specialist to their team, in this full-time permanent opportunity. This role is initially focused on the UK but offers scope to grow into a wider European remit over time. The main responsibilities: Support the development and management of effective employee benefit programmes aligned to company reward structures. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stay abreast of current benefit trends, compliance requirements, and best practices. Design and implement programmes including health insurance, retirement and pension plans, income protection, and holiday entitlement. Participate in local and global surveys to benchmark benefit trends, pricing, and policies. Assist with cost modelling and analysis for programme changes or new initiatives. Communicate benefit programmes and updates clearly and effectively to employees across the business. Ensure data is accurately submitted for surveys and internal reporting purposes. The ideal candidate: Educated to degree level or have equivalent professional experience. Similar experience in employee benefits or within a HR Generalist role with a solid appreciation of benefits. Strong knowledge of UK benefits legislation; familiarity with EU regulations is desirable. Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
