Secondary Cover Supervisor Location: Wellingborough, Northampton Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30/4:00pm Start Date: September 2025 - Interviewing as soon as possible We are seeking a confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is confident managing a classroom environment in the absence of a teacher. You'll be delivering pre-set lessons, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere, and ensuring students remain engaged and on-task. Key Requirements: Must have a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Ability to confidently manage and supervise a class Strong communication and classroom management skills A calm, professional, and flexible approach Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable but not essential Role Details: Full-time position, term-time only Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30/4:00pm Responsible for delivering prepared work and maintaining classroom order Ideal for individuals considering a future in teaching or education support This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about education and making a difference in the school day.
