Environmental Coordinator

ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR - CONTRACT – NORTH WALES To be considered for the role, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. Our Client, a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore, is currently looking for an Environmental Coordinator to work on a project in North Wales. Note: Our Client is also seeking Environmental Officers with 3-5 years’ experience for the same project. REQUIREMENTS * Education: BEng or BSc majoring in environmental or similar * Experience: 5-8 years in offshore and onshore projects * Certification: ISO (phone number removed) Lead Auditor RESPONSIBILITIES * Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities * Review and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements * Management of site environmental issues * Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company’s departments and relevant external stakeholders * Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations * Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data. RATE: Please quote what limited company daily or hourly rate you would be looking for. DURATION: Start ASAP. Ongoing. WORK PATTERN: 5.5 days per week onsite.
