This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical company working on a prestigious university campus in the heart of Cardiff. About the Role: Working as part of a skilled team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (7am – 7pm, rotating days & nights), you’ll be partnered with an on-site Electrical Engineer. Together, you’ll handle a wide range of HVAC, mechanical and plumbing maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient environment across the campus. What You’ll Be Doing: * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems * Responding to emergency breakdowns and resolving issues promptly * Supporting compliance with health & safety and site standards * Collaborating with the on-site electrical engineer to deliver effective facilities support What We’re Looking For: * City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing/Mechanical discipline * Strong background in Facilities Management or commercial building maintenance * Experience with HVAC systems and mechanical plant * Comfortable working on a shift basis and as part of a team What’s On Offer: * £40,000 base salary £2,500 shift allowance * 22 days holiday (on top of shift pattern) * Excellent overtime opportunities * Onsite parking * Company pension & employee discount schemes * Ongoing training & career progression * Regular team socials and company events This is a great opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual to join a respected name in the M&E sector with long-term prospects and a supportive team culture.
