Electrical Estimator

Leading M&E contractor, specialising in commercial fit-out projects, requires an Electrical Estimator with previous low voltage (LV) / building services experience. This is a permanent position, based in London and available on a hybrid basis. The role: * Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, quotes and tenders * Analyse and understand engineering drawings and specifications in order to fully assess project requirements * Manage pricing with subcontractors and suppliers, seeking out opportunities for value engineering * Work closely with colleagues in pre-construction and construction to support tenders * Manage an estimating database to ensure bids and associated documentation are regularly updated and accessible * Input take-offs and quantities Requirements: * Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator in the LV / M&E / building services industry * Qualification in Electrical Engineering * Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software, such as Candy * Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Estimator in the building services sector.
