Day-to-day of the role: Prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons in woodwork, metalwork, electronics, and graphics. Maintain tools, machinery, and workshop spaces to ensure safety and functionality. Support students during practical sessions, offering guidance and supervision. Assist with stock control and ordering of materials. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with teaching staff to support curriculum delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: Essential: Practical experience in a workshop or technical environment. Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Willingness to undertake relevant training. Desirable: Experience working in a school or educational setting. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and equipment. Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a workshop environment.
