Welder/Fabricator – Engineering Manufacturing Location: Bedfordshire Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing Salary: £18,00 Per Hour About the Role: We are seeking a multi-skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a long-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be involved in the fabrication of high-quality food processing equipment for both UK and international clients. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding and fabrication using stainless steel (1.0mm – 12mm), including pipework and purge welding. Use both TIG and Synergic MIG welding techniques. Interpret and work from engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and bend allowances. Operate fabrication and sheet-metal machinery with precision. Work collaboratively in the main production area or on-site at client locations. Adhere to all Health & Safety, quality, and production standards. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with stainless steel. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery. A team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail. Willingness to work on-site when required. Desirable Qualifications: City & Guilds in Welding and Fabrication or Completion of an apprenticeship in a recognised engineering environment.
