Reception Teacher – Ages 3–5 Fixed Term: September to December Location:East Grinstead Salary: Paid to scale – M1 to UPS3 Hours: School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30) Help Shape Their First Steps in Learning Are you passionate about supporting children at the very start of their education journey? We’re looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming early years team on a fixed-term basis from September to December. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in Reception settings in East Grinstead helping young learners build confidence, curiosity, and key skills during their first term in school. What You’ll Be Doing: Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework Creating a nurturing classroom where every child feels supported and safe Encouraging early development in language, motor skills, and social interaction Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff Following school routines and contributing to a positive learning environment What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK Experience in EYFS or working with children aged 3–5 A warm, patient, and engaging teaching style Confident in following and delivering the EYFS curriculum Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one) Available for the full fixed term: September to December Why Join Supply Desk?
