Psychologist – CSE Specialist Residential Service £50,000 – £55,000 | Full Time | Sharnbrook, Bedford | Hybrid Working We’re working in partnership with a specialist care provider to recruit a Psychologist (Clinical, Forensic or Counselling) to join a therapeutic residential service in Sharnbrook, Bedford, supporting children and young people who have experienced Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and complex trauma. This is a rare opportunity to join a trauma-informed service designed to provide structured, long-term therapeutic interventions that support recovery, resilience, and — where possible — reintegration with family or community. The Role: You will play a central role in the psychological care of children and young people who have experienced sexual exploitation, abuse, and high levels of emotional and behavioural distress. Key responsibilities include: * Leading on psychological assessments, formulations, and intervention planning * Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions (individual and group-based) * Supporting the development of a structured treatment pathway tailored to CSE * Providing clinical consultation, guidance, and reflective practice to residential staff * Collaborating with families and professionals to support reintegration and long-term outcomes * Promoting a psychologically safe and trauma-informed environment across the service We’re Looking For Someone With: * HCPC registration as a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist * Significant experience working with young people affected by trauma, abuse, or exploitation * Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, attachment disruption, and safeguarding * A resilient, reflective, and relational approach to clinical practice * A full UK driving licence (essential) What’s on Offer: * Salary between £50,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience) * Hybrid working – a mix of onsite and remote flexibility * Clinical supervision and ongoing CPD * The opportunity to influence and shape a specialist CSE recovery pathway * A therapeutic, values-led team committed to long-term healing and impact
