Mechanical Site Manager – South Cambridge £300–£400 per day | 2-Year Contract ️ £10M Research & Development Project HDS Consultancy is working with a leading MEP contractor to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager for a high-profile £10M research and development facility in South Cambridge. This is a long-term contract opportunity (24 months) on a technically complex and prestigious project, offering stability and excellent rates. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all on-site mechanical installation activities * Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and labour * Ensure work is delivered to specification, on time, and within budget * Maintain strict health and safety compliance * Report progress to the project management and client teams * Collaborate with design and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues ✅ Requirements * Proven track record as a Mechanical Site Manager on large-scale MEP or construction projects * Experience on complex research, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or laboratory builds is advantageous * SMSTS or equivalent site management certification * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
