SEN Teaching Assistant – South West London Location: South West London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (term-time only) Pay: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience) We are working with a range of welcoming and inclusive primary and secondary schools across South West London, all seeking passionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs and helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment. About the Role: * Supporting children with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH) * Providing 1:1 or small group support in the classroom and during interventions * Assisting with lesson delivery and adapting materials to meet individual needs * Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing * Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals * Contributing to EHCP reviews and progress tracking where required Ideal Candidate: * Has experience working with children with SEN in an education or care setting * Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusion * Understands the importance of consistency, routines, and building trust * Can follow direction but also use initiative * Has excellent communication skills and a proactive approach A background in education, psychology, youth work, or support work would be highly beneficial. Graduates considering a future in teaching or educational psychology are also encouraged to apply.
