Primary Teacher (ECT) Key Stage 2 Full-time Location: Muswell Hill Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Permanent or Temp - Perm Payscale: MPS1 (ECT) – MPS3We are currently working with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Muswell Hill who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher (ECT) for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This position is within Key Stage 2 and is suitable for Early Career Teachers who are either beginning their induction or have recently completed it. The Role As a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher, you will: Take full responsibility for teaching, planning and assessment within your class Work as part of a supportive Key Stage 2 phase team Develop engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where all pupils can thrive Collaborate with colleagues to deliver cross-curricular and enrichment opportunities Use formative and summative assessments effectively to track progressThis is a full-time classroom role, with additional support from teaching assistants and senior staff. Support for ECTs The school has a strong track record of successfully supporting Early Career Teachers through their induction period. As an ECT, you will receive: A dedicated mentor teacher and induction tutor A carefully structured induction plan in line with the national ECF (Early Career Framework) Weekly PPA and protected ECT time Access to high-quality professional development and training Opportunities to observe experienced teachers and collaborate in planning Regular feedback and reviews to support your growth and confidence in the roleThe School This is a small, inclusive, one-form-entry primary school with a diverse and vibrant community.
