Process Improvement Assistant

Job Title: Process Improvement Assistant Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 Sector: Aerospace Location: Verwood Full Time: Monday - Friday Process Improvement Assistant Duties: Extract and analyse key metrics (lead‑time, productivity, scrap rates) via Excel and ERP/MRP systems. Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and control plans. Create dashboards and reports to highlight trends and KPIs for senior leadership. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and variability in processes. Assist with root-cause analyses (5 Whys) for incidents or deviations. Assist with driving improvement, lean processes.Process Improvement Assistant Requirements: Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies or continuous improvement frameworks. Competent in process mapping and visualisation tools. Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP) and H&S compliance a plus.
