Fabrication Manager

Fabrication Manager East Sussex Based On-Site £45k plus (depending on experience) plus incentive package Lead a Key Operational Function in a Dynamic Manufacturing Environment An established UK based manufacturer supplying innovative cladding and framing systems to major construction projects across the UK and internationally is seeking a proactive and experienced Fabrication Manager. This is a critical leadership role overseeing fabrication, aluminium processing, and goods in and out. The company is committed to product quality, excellent service and long-term performance, maintaining high internal standards across all operations. Hours of work – 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities * Coordinate scheduling of fabrication and downer activities, including consumable planning * Manage stock levels of aluminium and related material * Drive improvements across manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent product quality * Oversee workforce planning and departmental capacity * Monitor plant and equipment, raising any concerns promptly * Supervise packing and dispatch processes, including handling of customer samples * Ensure documentation is accurately completed and internal systems are updated * Promote and uphold high health and safety standards * Collaborate with internal departments to support wider business goals We are looking for * Previous factory management experience * Strong planning and organisational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines * Motivated self-starter with a hands-on, solution focused mindset * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Confident decision maker who remains calm under pressure * Proficient IT skills * Committed to all aspects of health & safety * Team player who supports colleagues and shares knowledge * Customer focused with a passion for delivering quality and service Benefits * Competitive salary * Group Life plan insurance * 8% workplace pension with salary sacrifice * Potential relocation package * 25 days annual leave Bank holidays * Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development If you are ready to lead and improve core operational functions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, we would love to hear from you
