Plant and Tool Fitter

Job Role: Working for a regional Plant and Tool Hire Hire company, you will be working as a Plant and Tool Fitter / Service Engineer – based in Hertfordshire. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Mechanical Diesel Plant and Petrol and Electrical Tools. The salary for this position is 32 - 35k, plus benefits. We are looking for someone who is familiar with working on Construction Equipment, with previous experience working within the Hire Industry. The position is permanent full time Monday - Friday. Key Responsibilities: As a Plant and Tool Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Your Job Role Would Include: PDI’s, Servicing & Repairing Plant Hire Equipment Fit Accessories as Required Work Well Under Pressure Complete Administration Tasks including Service & Repair Records Accurately Present a Professional and Positive Attitude when working on Customer Sites Maintain Health & Safety To HSE & Company Standards Skills: The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Plant Fitter Role Will Have: Previous Experience in One or More of The Following Roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Mobile Service Engineer, Tool Fitter You Will Need Previous Experience within Tool Hire / Plant Hire / Agricultural and Construction Equipment Industry Analytical Approach To Problem Solving Able to Work Without Instruction Own Tool Kit Basic IT Skills Good Communication Skills, both Verbal & Written Clean Current Driving License Benefits: Within the Role of Service Engineer / Plant Fitter You Would Receive: Permanent Full Time Position Monday - Friday Standard Working Week Bonus scheme Please follow the link to apply
